On the afternoon of March 15, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, came to Siqing Lake to participate in voluntary tree planting activities, adding new green to Chenzhou. Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the activity.

As soon as they reached the tree planting point, Yi Pengfei and Liu Zhiren picked up the shovel and got busy. T hey worked together and cooperated and each process was serious and meticulous. After a lot of hard work, more than 600 green plants, including Photinia Fraxinus, Lagerstroemia indica, Cinnamomum camphora and Quercus Nata, stand in the wind.

In the process of planting trees, Yi Pengfei communicated with the person in charge of the forestry department while working, to learn more about the afforestation and ecological construction in our city. Yi Pengfei said that in recent years, we have adhered to the construction of ecological Chenzhou, and insisted on optimizing and beautifying the ecological environment of Chenzhou through afforestation, with remarkable results. Participating in voluntary tree planting is not only an important action to carry out Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization, but also an obligation and responsibility for carrying out afforestation. In the new stage of development, we must further implement Xi Jinping's idea of ecological civilization, and put the idea of "ecological priority and green development" in the action of afforestation and continue to adhere to our practical actions to further promote the construction of green Chenzhou and ecological Chenzhou, and promote the green development of Chenzhou.
