On March 25, the joint inspection team of the Central Ministry of State Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Commerce jointly examined and approved the application of the "cross strait industrial cooperation zone" of the central ministry to conduct field investigation on Hunan Province's declaration of cross strait industrial cooperation zone. Zhang Shihong, Director of the Economic Bureau of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Li Xiaohui, Deputy Director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Xiao Xiangqing, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Provincial Party Committee, and Kan Baoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, participated in the investigation.

The investigation team visited Delta Electronics (Chenzhou) Co., Ltd. and Hunan GiantSun Power Electronics Co., Ltd. to learn more about the current situation of enterprise development, industrial brand characteristics and the current situation of industrial cooperation with Taiwan, and to listen to the report on the planning and construction of the park in our city. Hunan Province plans to apply for the establishment of cross-strait industrial cooperation zone in the mode of "one zone and three parks", namely "Yueyang Industrial Park, Xiangtan Industrial Park and Chenzhou Industrial Park" to form a "cross-strait industrial cooperation zone". If the application is successful, it will become the fifth approved cross-strait industrial cooperation zone in China.

The team fully affirmed Chenzhou's achievements in building an industrial undertaking platform, strengthening investment promotion and cooperation, and improving the level of co construction and sharing. It was hoped that Chenzhou can take advantage of the historical opportunity of applying for an industrial cooperation zone in the future, give full play to its regional advantages and platform effect, strengthen the in-depth economic cooperation between Chenzhou and Taiwan, attract more Taiwan funded enterprises to settle down, and promote the transformation from the agglomeration of Taiwan funded enterprises to industrial cluster transformation.

Kan Baoyong pointed out that with the goal of promoting the deep integration and development of industries between Chenzhou and Taiwan, the city will give full play to the advantages of South Hunan and West Hunan undertaking industrial transfer demonstration zone and Chenzhou Area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, improve the planning and layout, promote industrial clusters, carry out precise business recruitment, speed up scientific and technological innovation, optimize business environment, and actively integrate into the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area, so as to promote the cross-strait industrial development to complement each other and create a win-win situation, strive to build cross-strait industrial cooperation platform with national characteristics, influence, and demonstration, and make Chenzhou contribution to the promotion of cross-strait economic and social in-depth integration and development.
