On May 10, the National Demonstration Campaign of Bringing Culture/Science and Technology/Hygienic Health to the Countryside & the Publicity Campaign of the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China was launched in Shazhou Village, Rucheng County, Chenzhou City.

The event was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China, and the National Office for Law Popularization. At the event, the Ministry of Justice granted the honorary title of “National Demonstration Village for Democracy and Rule of Law” to Shazhou Village and other three villages, and the central departments concerned presented Rucheng County with books about the interpretation of the Civil Code. The Justice Department of Hunan Province conferred a flag on the Publicity Team of Civil Code in Rucheng County, and the provincial departments concerned provided services and consultation for the Campaign of Bringing Culture/Science and Technology/Hygienic Health to the Countryside and organized art performances.
