Huangcao Town, Zixing City, was awarded the title of “characteristic cultural tourism photography town”, according to news from the awarding ceremony of the characteristic towns of China Culture & Tourism Photography Association (CCTPA) held by CCTPA and Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports in Huangcao Town, Zixing City, Chenzhou City on May 22.

Zhang Tongsheng, vice president of CCTPA, awarded this prize to Huangcao Town, which is the first such prize awarded by CCTPA. Meanwhile, a series of activities were officially launched to collect materials for work creation in Chenzhou City. More than 50 photographers from CCTPA will go to Zixing, Rucheng, Yizhang cities and counties to collect photography materials between May 22 and 25. And the beautiful scenery and profound culture of Chenzhou will be further promoted through their unique perspectives, artistic means and exquisite skills.

Huangcao Town is the core area of Dongjiang Lake, a national 5A scenic area, and it was rated as one of Hunan’s top 10 characteristic cultural tourism towns in 2020.
