The first Hunan-Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Exhibition Industry Conference was held in Chenzhou on May 26, drawing in many well-known enterprises in exhibition industry from Hunan and Guangdong provinces. More than 200 people discussed innovation-driven development of exhibition industry and sought for potential cooperation.

This conference provided a platform for the four places to explore digitized and branding development of exhibition industry under new conditions, which was aimed to build Chenzhou into an “exhibition hub in central China” and promote the high-quality development of its exhibition economy.

Chenzhou has built professional exhibition halls and held several exhibitions in recent years such as China (Hunan) Mineral and Gem Show and Hunan (Chenzhou) Vegetable and Fruit Show, through which it has accumulated valuable experience in organizing exhibitions.

On the opening ceremony of the conference, relevant departments signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement and the certificates and plagues were also issued to recognize the brand exhibition projects in Hunan province this year. 

After the opening ceremony, some exhibition professionals discussed how to promote the integrated development of industries and exhibition in medium-sized and small cities. In addition, those who had outstanding performances in the exhibition industry in 2020 were commended.
