The air traffic area and air traffic control of Chenzhou Beihu Airport were inspected by the Central South Regional Administration of CAAC on June 17. The construction companies in charge of the projects reported the related work.
Liang Chenggu, vice mayor of Chenzhou City, said this inspection is the inevitable precondition for the operation of the airport, and a key transition for the airport from construction to operation. It will inspire the whole city from top to down to continue efforts for its high-quality development. He expects all departments and companies involved can work together to ensure the airport can be open to traffic as scheduled.
After that, three professional teams conducted a comprehensive inspection on the airfield road, navigation lighting, air control and air defense safety. The inspection work is expected to be done on June 18.
