“I am very proud of being a CPC member,” said Ou Aiguo, the Party branch secretary of Liangguang Village, Linwu County, who won the title of exemplary Party workers and attended the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on July 1.

Zeng Xianguo, who had just been awarded an outstanding Party member, and Zhu Xiangqun, the Party branch secretary of Shazhou Yao Village, Rucheng County, also attended the celebration.

It was the first time for Zeng Xianguo to stand among more than 70,000 people. A joyous atmosphere surrounded him and a strong excitement stroke him. “I am deeply proud that I live in such a great country led by a powerful Party, and I will devote myself to the cause of the Party and the people,” said Zeng.

 “It’s my great honor to attend the celebration at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing,” said Zhu Xiangqun. He noted that he will stay true to original aspiration and carry forward “Half A Quilt” spirit to serve the people and solve practical problems for villagers so as to increase their sense of happiness and security. He will also carry forward Three Ox spirit to promote red tourism and green development for rural revitalization in Shazhou Village.
