At present, the tricky epidemic situation requires constant alert. To prevent and minimize the spread of COVID-19, following suggestions are now proposed by Hunan CDC to the public:
Firstly, citizens are advised not to go to medium-and-high risk areas unless necessary. Any citizen who has to go to these areas or has visited these areas should take the initiative to report it to the community (village) and working units, and well implement preventive measures in accordance with relevant requirements.
Secondly, citizens are advised to stagger travel hours. If it is necessary, please pay attention to the latest epidemic prevention policies of the destination, prepare preventive supplies in advance and make reasonable schedules. During the travel, citizens should raise personal protection awareness, take preventive and control measures, report any signs of disease such as fever, cough, diarrhea, hypogeusia and hyposmia and seek medical treatment at the nearest place.
Thirdly, gathering activities like meeting and training are recommended to be held online; if necessary, the host should bear full responsibility and strictly implement relevant preventive measures.
Fourthly, citizens should raise personal protection awareness, keep at least one meter away from other people and wear masks (especially in public transports and closed public areas).
Moreover, citizens should also pay attention to personal hygiene and form good sanitary habits.
Fifthly, self-health monitoring should be carried out every day. When having any signs of disease such as fever, cough, asthenia, diarrhea, sore throat, hypogeusia and hyposmia, please report it to the community (village) and working units. While seeking medical treatment at the nearest place, please avoid public transports.
Last but not the least, those who are eligible for vaccination should get jabbed as soon as possible.
