"We need to remind passengers to scan Hunan Health Code before leaving the station, provide interpretation for foreign passengers, assist passengers with yellow and red health codes and passengers from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas to register their information, and guide passengers coming from medium- and high-risk areas to get nucleic acid tests and be quarantined," said Volunteer Wang Jiaqi.

As China is tackling a resurgence of COVID-19 cases, Chenzhou Municipal Volunteer Service Federation issued an initiative for COVID-19 prevention and control on August 2, calling on all volunteer service organizations, member units and volunteers to fight against the disease together. After the initiative was issued, volunteers from various associations responded positively. They went to railway stations, traffic intersections, hotels, supermarkets and other key places respectively to assist in pandemic prevention and control.

Tu Zhaohui, Vice President of Beihu District Volunteer Association, said, "After the initiative was issued, volunteers all took the initiative to provide services. We quickly sent a volunteer team to Chenzhouxi High-speed Railway Station to assist in pandemic prevention and control from August 2."
