On August 19, villagers were weeding with lawn mowers in the oil-tea camellia wood in Shuiyuandong Natural Village, Guidong County.
The county encourages and supports villagers to develop the high-mountain oil-tea camellia industry to boost the construction of beautiful countryside. More than 1,000 mu of oil-tea trees have been planted, most of which can yield fruits this year. At a glance, the tea fruits hanging on the branches are already reddening on the tea mountain in the early autumn. In order to ensure a bumper harvest and an increasing income, the villagers are now managing the trees in the wood, such as weeding.
