Talent measures help rural revitalization

Since the rural revitalization working team began their work in Nan’an Village, Fenshi Town, Linwu County, it has carried out an overall survey on migrant workers, veterans, university students, private entrepreneurs and people who engage in innovative work or start a business outside of the village, and created profiles for them by category. The determination to attract talent returning to hometown has been fully demonstrated by a letter to the migrant workers, monthly telephone contact, quarterly visit to left-behind parents and children, annual rural revitalization and development forum, etc.

 

Efforts have been made to cultivate new types of farmers by holding lectures on agricultural technology and field classes. At present, there are eight able people who used to work outside of the village participating in the village’s economic construction. They have promoted the development of industries such as Collybia albuminosa planting, greenhouse breeding and automobile repair, and introduced more than 6 million yuan of capital, creating more than 200 jobs for the whole village.
 
In view of long-term development, the working team has actively attracted college students and social practice volunteers to work and start businesses in the village. Fu’an Planting Cooperative cooperated with colleges and universities, and established a long-term cooperative mechanism of research and development, transformation, promotion and education by engaging professors as consultants and short-term technical instructors. 
 
Based on the rich red resource, Zhushujiao Village has introduced 18 million yuan of capital and a cultural tourism development team of 18 people by the cooperative relationship with Chenzhou Zhiqing Holiday Travel Co. Ltd., to build a complex tourism project integrating red exhibition hall, homestay, picking and research tour.
 
The working team has also provided related guarantee measures for those who return to their hometowns to start businesses and solve their practical problems and difficulties for their businesses and innovation.
