The summer and autumn are the peak seasons for the production and sales of alpine vegetables.

Relying on the climate advantages, Xinrong Ecological Agriculture Company, located in Zhaiqian Town, Guidong County, Chenzhou City, transferred 370 mu (24.67 hectares) of land in Xinkeng and Xinqiao villages to build a production base for agricultural and sideline products such as alpine celery and peppers with 302 steel greenhouses.

It has provided more than 90 jobs for local farmers and supplied more than 3,500 kg of vegetables to Guangdong, Shenzhen, Hengyang and other places every day, helping the county’s rural revitalization.
