Shazhou Village, Rucheng County has seen rapid growth and promising future in red tourism. Its tourist flow keeps rising, with more than 1.8 million newly-increased tourists, a year-on-year growth of about 1.6 times, which broadens the road to prosperity for the villagers.
Up to now, there are 135 stalls, 11 restaurants, 7 homestays and 30 specialty shops. Tourism derivatives like creative milk tea, amusement bikes, and live streaming are emerging one after another.
After 40 years of reform and opening up, Shazhou Village has experienced a brand-new change from a traditional agricultural village to a red tourism village. This smallest village in Rucheng County, with an area of only 0.92 square kilometers, is developing into a bright pearl in southern Hunan.
