Beihu Airport is expected to enter service in the middle of September after passing various testing and inspections.

The first floor of airport terminal provides services like check-in, baggage check, and security check. Its second floor is equipped with medical emergency rooms, toilets, dressing rooms, mother-and-baby rooms and the third gender toilets. It is a “5G+ smart airport”, which allows passengers to check in and change tickets through self-service ticket systems. A fast working mode makes it possible that passengers only take seven minutes to pass security.

The terminal building covers an area of 6,419 square meters, with 6 aircraft parking bays and complete facilities for navigation, weather, fuel supply, fire rescue and so on. It is designed to receive a passenger throughput of 550,000, a cargo throughput of 3,000 tons and the takeoff and landing of 7,300 flights.
