In the golden autumn season, more than 1,800 mu (120 hectares) of rice is being harvested at the Pinghedong Hybrid Rice Seed Production Base in Pinghe Village, Yangmeishan Town, Yizhang County. It is a relatively closed village surrounded by mountains. In recent years, Pinghe Village has developed the seed industry based on local conditions to help farmers increase their income and become rich.
