In recent years, Jiahe County has increased the efforts in adjusting agricultural industrial structure and planted more than 15,000 mu (1,000 hectare) of sorghum in the mode of “Base, Cooperatives and Farmers”. All the harvested sorghum are sold to Guizhou and other places. This has effectively led to an increase in farmers’ income.
