On the day the first flight from Chenzhou to Beijing took off, “Chenzhou (Beijing) 2021 Industrial Invest & Culture Tourism Promotion Conference” was held in Beijing.

 

Liu Zhiren, Secretary of the Chenzhou Municipal Committee of the CPC, says that the flight from Beijing to Chenzhou makes the journey shortened from 9 hours on high-speed train to 2 hours, making the travel more convenient and cities more connected.

 

 

Known as the “South Gate of Hunan Province,” Chenzhou boasts a long history of more than 2,000 years and has a profound culture. It has been rated as National Leisure City, Top Tourist City of China and National Culturally Advanced City. According to Liu Zhiren, in the first half of 2021, Chenzhou received 39.481 million domestic and foreign tourists, with a total tourism income of 36.66 billion yuan, ranking the third and second in Hunan Province respectively.

 

 

Liu said, to build a demonstration zone for inheriting red genes and promoting green development, Chenzhou is striving to tap the potential of developing evolutionary tourism and build a Red brand of Chenzhou. The city will continuously give full play to the leading role of Shazhou Village where the original aspiration of the Party was well interpreted, integrate the city’s red tourism resources, beef up inter-provincial regional development, and build “Red Southern Hunan” red tourism brand for high-quality development.

 

The “Chenzhou (Beijing) 2021 Industrial Invest & Culture Tourism Promotion Conference” also witnessed the signing ceremony for the cooperative development of Chenzhou tourism market.
