The Green Lawn Aviation Camp was built by Hunan Dawu General Aviation Co., Ltd., which is committed to building a base for aviation production, research, learning, camping, marketing and service, developing a unique “aviation town” in Chenzhou City, and contributing to the prosperity and development of Chenzhou “aviation plus” industrial economy.

 

According to Qiu Zhiyao, chairman of the company, the Green Lawn Aviation Camp is designed to meet the capacity of 20 aircraft, paragliders, power parachutes, delta wings and so on.

Qiu said the flight camp mainly carries out aviation science research for primary and secondary school students, flight license training, general commercial flight, air flight experience, and recreational flight to promote the coordinated development of agriculture, recreation, culture and tourism industries in the green lawn district in line with the mission of rural revitalization.

 

Next, the Green Lawn Aviation Camp will step up construction, which is expected to take three months and will be open to tourists on the eve of the Spring Festival next year.

 

In the coming 3-5 years, the “Aviation Town” will actively implement CAAC’s strategy of co-developing general aviation and commercial aviation in China, devote itself to promoting the development of China’s general aviation, uphold the concept of sustainable development, and open up the market in multiple dimensions.

 

Endowed by the natural conditions, we should vigorously develop industries featured by aviation including modern agriculture, intelligent agriculture and sightseeing agriculture, a green lawn international aviation health base, and realize the overall strategic goal of “agriculture as the foundation, education as the root, culture as the soul, aviation as the characteristic and health as the code”.

 

According to experts, the project will be part of the new three-dimensional economic platform of “water, land and air” in Chenzhou, which will attract the related industries, release the huge market potential, open up the Chenzhou air economic corridor to achieve the rapid development of Chenzhou as an eco-tourism and cultural city and regional competitiveness.
