Since the 14th Five-year Plan (2021-2025), based on local advantages, the local government has made full use of existing resources, taken industrial revitalization, quality improvement and transformation as the major way to cultivate financial resources and promote green development, and spared no effort to promote the construction of six industrial chains such as new energy and new materials. The settlement of Jinko Power Technology Co., Ltd. and the construction of Qianjiadong 80MWp PV Power Generation Project have become a new industry and injected impetus into the county’s rural revitalization. 

 

This project is the second centralized photovoltaic power generation project invested by Jinko Power Technology Co., Ltd. in Jiahe County. With a total investment of 350 million yuan, this project’s installed capacity is 80 MW, and the average annual power generation is nearly 72.352 million kilowatts. After its completion, the average annual tax payment can realize more than 10 million CNY. 

 

This project uses 2,400 mu (160 hectares) of water surface of Qianjiadong Reservoir in Guangfa Town. Without changing the nature and use of the land, it’s developed in the form of fishery-solar hybrid system. The upper water area is solar photovoltaic power generation, and the lower water area is used for fish breeding, realizing a comprehensive utilization of water and light resources. 

 

 

 

It’s a green new energy project supported by the country, with obvious environmental project effect. Under the same power generation, compared with coal-fired power plants, the annual emission of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and greenhouse gas carbon dioxide can be reduced by about 190.4t and 5,868.8t respectively. It’s a typical application of the national major strategy of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. 

 

This photovoltaic power station can drive tourism and catering employment around, and increase the income of state-owned assets of Qianjiadong Reservoir. The annual average subsidy of the investment enterprises to the collective income of the villages around the reservoir, such as Lerenfang, Mafeng and Wangjia villages, not only helps to alleviate the problems of reservoir resettlement subsidies, but also solves problems of capital shortage for rural revitalization, and increases the people’s sense of gain and happiness.
