A gourmet festival was held in Suxian District from September 24 to 26, which attracted many foodies. The live streaming was an important part of the gourmet festival, which aims to explore the best specialties and food ingredients of Suxian District and thus to boost consumption and rural revitalization. 

 

 

 

For a native of Chenzhou, Qifengdu fish rice noodles are the first choice for breakfast, which is rated as the intangible cultural heritage. During the event, people were attracted by many delicious foods such as appetizing lotus roots, tasty steamed buns, chewy foods made of sorghum silk smut and salted black beans with rod chili. Live streamers and business owners recommended those specialties to viewers with favorable prices. 

 

 

The live streaming attracted nearly one million online viewers, and most of them placed orders for delicious specialties of Suxian District. Mount Suxian Scenic Area is hailed as “one of the top 18 blessed lands in China.” On a cliff of Mount Suxian is engraved with a poem created by Qin Shaoyou, prefaced by Su Dongpo and written by Mi Fu (all are famous literati of the Norther Song Dynasty). The live streaming also introduced other famous scenic spots and red attractions in Suxian District. 

The live streaming not only promotes tasty food and culture of Suxian District but also helps boost rural revitalization.
