Nearly 20 senior media reporters from North Korea, Germany, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, the United Kingdom, etc., will visit Hunan’s cities and villages, and put their cameras on CAETE, and the province’s latest policies, achievements and leading manufacturing industries. After an on-the-spot investigation, they will be impressed by the beautiful and vigorous Hunan and its lovely people, and report Hunan’s sound development, red culture and rural revitalization to the world from an international perspective.

At present, Hunan is striving to build a hub of national advanced manufacturing industries that focus on technological innovation and the sound development of the central provinces and Yangtze River Economic Belt, and thus to write a new chapter in the new era. Since the beginning of this year, the implementation of Hunan’s Three Hubs and Four New Missions Strategy has seen fruitful results. The ever-changing Hunan has continuously attracted the attention of domestic and foreign media with its booming economy and culture.

The autumn sees a bumper harvest scene in Hunan. The interview team will visit red scenic spots and leading manufacturing industries in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Chenzou in five days and participate in the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo. In Changsha, they will visit scenic spots like Yuelu Academy, Orange Isle, Hunan First Normal University, and leading manufacturing enterprises like Sany Heavy Industry,Sunward Intelligent Equipment and Hunan Sunward Aircraft Co., Ltd from September 26 to 27. In Zhuzhou City, they will visit CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and Liling, a place hailed as “China Ceramic Valley” to explore the inheritance and innovation of ceramic art on September 28. The last stop is Chenzhou City where they will visit Ruchen County, the birthplace of the opera “Half Quilt”, and Dongshan Village—a demonstration site for rural revitalization, where they will know stories of red tourism and rural revitalization.

After participating in the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, the interview team will go to Gaoqiao Market in Yuhua District of Changsha City to visit China-Africa Trade Cooperation Promotion Innovation Demonstration Park. Given expanding channels and platforms, Hunan’s trade with Africa has seen fast growth; its total volume of trade which ranked 14th in China in 2018, has rocketed to the 8th in China and the top among central provinces in the first half of 2021.
This year marks the centenary of the CPC. Hunan is a red land with a glorious revolutionary history that boasts many red landmarks, such as Yuelu Academy, the birthplace of academic ideas and revolutionary thoughts, Orange Isle, where Mao Zedong carried out revolutionary activities in his youth, and the source of the famous poem “Changsha—To the Tune of Qin Yuanchun”, Hunan First Normal University, one of the birthplaces of Chinese Communist Movement, the New Democratic Revolution, and Rucheng County, a place that witnessed the fresh-and-blood relationship between the general public and communists.

Hunan boasts advanced manufacturing industries, such as Sany Heavy Industry, Sunward Intelligent Equipment, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and Hunan Sunward Aircraft Co., Ltd. At present, Hunan has formed three landmark clusters—construction machinery, rail transit equipment, and aerospace power, among which Changsha construction machinery and Zhuzhou rail transit equipment have been selected as national advanced manufacturing clusters. The largest-diameter shield machine jointly developed by China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Group and China Railway 14th Bureau Group was launched in Changsha, which is a strong boost for building a national advanced manufacturing hub.
