“The community cultural service center equipped with so many equipment and facilities is a good place for the Elderly Art Troupe to hold rehearsals every week, and we will hold more public welfare performances in the future,” said Ms Zhai, a member of the community art troupe.

 

In recent years, in order to effectively improve the living quality of community residents and enhance their sense of happiness and gain, Ailianhu Community has actively developed community sports teams and further integrated community cultural resources.

 

 

Up to now, the community has built seven cultural and sports teams. These art teams mainly focus on opera singing and square dance performance, as well as cultural and sports activities such as dance, model show, opera, morning exercise, calligraphy, sports and so on.

 

The Chunmiao Reading Room, where there are many kinds of books and paintings, is a popular place among the residents. Meanwhile, there are many activity rooms such as children's service center, sports room, handicraft workshop, calligraphy and painting room, book reading room, where residents can relax, read and communicate freely.

 

"These activity rooms in the community give us a place to go and relax. Every time we come here, I feel like being with a big family." said Mr. Wang, who is practicing calligraphy.

 

 

Ailianhu Community seeks to build a comprehensive cultural home which integrates leisure, sports and folk activities, moral and etiquette education, voluntary service and popular science education for residents.
