There are many kinds of vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli and Chinese cabbage in Junjiaqiao Vegetable Planting Base of Gaotingsi town, Yongxing County.

 

 

“Under the guidance of the Agricultural Department, the base has begun to plant vegetables with a short growth cycle since October. Now, my vegetable base can provide about 2 tons of vegetables per day to the surrounding markets,” said Chen Yijun, owner of the base, who was harvesting fresh pepper with farmers.

 

 

According to the statistics of the County Agricultural Department, the planned area of vegetables in autumn and winter in Yongxing County this year is 77,000 mu (about 5,133 hectares). At present, it has planted 72,000 mu (4,800 hectares), 93% of the goal.
