Yizhang, Chongyi cooperate on red tourism

A cooperation framework agreement on red tourism development and red study tour was signed by Yizhang County of Chenzhou City and Chongyi County of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, marking a solid step toward the win-win cooperation of red cultural tourism in the Hunan-Jiangxi border areas.
According to the agreement, Yizhang County and Chongyi County will set up coordination meeting mechanism and carry out in-depth cooperation in the aspects of resources sharing, development of travel routes, project planning and so on.
The party schools of the two places will jointly promote the exchange and cooperation in education and training of party members and cadres in both places.
In recent years, Yizhang County has attached great importance to the development of red tourism and carried out improvement projects in such revolutionary sites as former site of Xiangnan Uprising Headquarters and former residence of Deng Zhongxia.
Based on its rich tourism resources, Yizhang has focused on creating a tourism brand with diversified tours, and strengthened tourism cooperation with neighboring Jiangxi to boost red tourism, such as scientific planning of red tourism route in the border areas.
From January to October, Yizhang's red tourist attractions received more than 2.7 million tourists, realizing a comprehensive income of more than 2.3 billion yuan.
