Chenzhou Civilized Practice Volunteer Base for the Disabled, located on the first floor of the office building of the Municipal Disabled Persons’ Federation, Nanhu Road, Chenzhou City, was unveiled on December 8.
Helping the disabled is a great cause related to people’s well-being. This year, 21 units were recognized as provincial volunteer service bases for the disabled by the Hunan Provincial Disabled Persons’ Federation. Suxian District Volunteer Federation is the only one in Chenzhou.
To widely promote the volunteer service activities for the disabled and provide better and more convenient services for the disabled, Chenzhou Civilized Practice Volunteer Base for the Disabled was established.
It adheres to the concept of “caring for the disabled” and seeks to enrich the connotation of civilized practice volunteer services in the new era.
There are 154,600 disabled people with disabled certificates in Chenzhou, including 75,600 severe disabled persons. Most of them have no ability to take care of themselves. This year, the federation took the lead in carrying out theme activities, allowing more severe disabled people to share the achievements of social development.
Suxian District Volunteer Federation actively promoted the application of a special app for the disabled, with many volunteers taking the initiative to help the disabled, which won the praise from the disabled.
