Relying on unique tea resources and culture, Yizhang County has strived to cultivate tea industry into a pillar industry in the county by investing nearly 10 million yuan every year and about 100 million yuan of agricultural funds to boost rapid development of the industry. 

 

At present, there are 4,400 hectares of tea gardens, with an annual output of 1,700 tons and an output value of 500 million yuan. The county has cultivated 4 provincial leading enterprises and built 8 high-standard demonstration planting bases.

 

 

Thanks to the tea industry, nearly 20,000 impoverished people have been lifted out of poverty.
