“Thanks to this platform, multiple kinds of work like epidemic prevention and control, branch farm industry supervision and drowning prevention monitoring can be done without the need to visit the site,” a post-90s cadre from Gaopai village, Tangdong Subdistrict, Zixing City said happily when seeing the staff inputting data on the “digital village” platform. 

 

 

After the construction of “digital village” started last year, Gaopai village was the first to sign a cooperation agreement with Chenzhou Unicom. It aims to build a “digital village” with the mode of “digital village, smart party building, industrial assistance, and rural governance”.  

 

The “digital village” project in Gaopai village includes multiple aspects.

 

For example, cameras and speakers are installed at the main intersections and main roads to spread the knowledge of social security, epidemic prevention and control, and policies. A drowning prevention alarm systems shall be installed in important mountain reservoirs to prevent drowning. An integrated supervision platform for managing and operating “digital village” is built to further promote rural development and cultivate new driving forces of rural economy.

 

 

Now, cameras and “cloud speakers” have been installed at the main intersections and 20 natural villages; the drowning prevention alarm systems in key areas have been debugged. All industrial areas are under monitoring. And the data has been input into the platform. 

 

Next, Tangdong Subdistrict will build Gaopai, Chengshui and Dawangzhai into “digital village” demonstration zones, integrate smart party building, learning, livestreaming sales of characteristic products into “digital village”, give full play to digital technologies in rural revitalization, and further stimulate the new vitality of rural revitalization.
