One pair of trains with 16 carriages for each will be operated every day. It leaves Chenzhouxi Station at 7:33 am, returns from Shenzhenbei Station at 20:49 and arrives at Chenzhouxi Station at 22:48.

All 16 carriages have been redecorated and upgraded. Local delicacies and beautiful tourist attractions are showcased in each carriage such as Yangtian Lake Scenic Area, Deng Hua’s former residence, Xiaobu Ancient Village, Longnv Hot Spring, which is a detailed guide to Chenzhou.

“The special train runs direct to my hometown, and from now on, it can only take me the commute time in Shenzhen to return to Chenzhou!” said Peng Jiamin, a kindergarten principal at Chenzhou Yuanhengjia School, who is from Shenzhen and usually spends a lot of time commuting to and from Chenzhou.

As the special train opens, it will be more convenient for her to go home in the future without rushing to catch the high-speed rail, which gives her a sense of belonging to Chenzhou.

Beihu District has been working to provide efficient services. The Yuanhengjia education project was started in October last year and was put into use in just 273 days, with the help of the local government. The school officially opened on September 1, with more than 1,000 students enrolled in the first semester.

“The opening of the Yangtianhu special train on the Chenzhou-Guangzhou-Shenzhen Express Line marks Chenzhou’s deep integration into the ‘one-hour life circle’ of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,” said Xiao Shengnan, sales director of Chenzhou Jinzhan Tourism Investment Co., Ltd.

Named after Yangtian Lake, the special train will push the brand of Yangtian Lake prairie to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area, which has always been known as “the most beautiful mountain grassland in the south”, is a good place for Guangdong citizens to travel for leisure.

Jinzhan Tourism Investment Co., Ltd takes the opening of the special train as an opportunity to work with tourism agencies in the Great Bay Area to develop special train tourism and routes to accelerate the promotion of Yangtian Lake Grassland to the core cities of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

“The opening of the special train has ushered in new opportunities for Beihu District to attract investment,” said Cao Canhong, director of the Bureau of Commerce of Beihu District.

Beihu District is located in the center of Chenzhou, with the national and provincial highways and high-speed railway lines all over the region. Beihu Airport makes it available to travel by plane. Now the opening of the Yangtianhu special train will comprehensively accelerate the integration of Beihu District services into Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Beihu District has also successively issued a series of preferential policies on industrial investment promotion and support, providing flexible land use, production subsidies and tax incentives to productive enterprises engaged in electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, and leading-edge technology. Full support will be given to innovative enterprises in science and technology.

At the same time, the airport economic zone will be built around five major industries—new graphite materials, electronic information, non-ferrous metal, intelligent manufacturing, food and medicine.

Through the effort, a new industrial development pattern will be created, which covers Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, Xiangnan International Logistics Park, Xiangnan Science and Technology Park, Airport Industrial Park, Lutang Graphite Industrial Park and Huatang Agricultural Products Processing Park.
