In order to make farming easier for farmers, Anren County has continuously improved its agricultural social service system. There were numerous social service organizations in the county because of the implementation of new modes like “rural collective economic organizations + farmers” and “social service providers + rural collective economic organizations + farmers”.

 

For example, Benben Modern Agricultural Cooperative Association in Anren County, consisting of more than 10 agricultural machines cooperatives, provides farmers with agricultural machinery services.

 

Xinliang Modern Agricultural Machinery Cooperative Association offers “OEM service” of three different types, semi-trusteeship or full-service trusteeship or full-trusteeship.

 

Shengping Cooperative Association promotes high-quality development of agriculture by providing free seeds and technology consultation and purchasing all produces with reasonable prices.

 

To expand the coverage of agricultural social service system, the county, with the help of rural land ownership confirmation, also put forward standard, orderly and large-scale rural land transfer and promoted the construction of high-standard farmland.

 

In 2021, the county owned high-standard farmland of 81,800 mu (about 5,453 hectares) and helped farmers with professional agricultural consultation and quality machinery. As of the publication of this article, the county boasted transferred arable farmland of 290,000 mu (about 19,333 hectares), accounting for 80% of the county’s total arable farmland.

 

Anren, under the help of innovation of agricultural social service, has reduced agricultural production costs by 15% to 30% and agricultural pollution and use of pesticides and fertilizers by 20% to 30%. In 2021, the county’s grain production increased by more than 30,000 tons with output of per mu (about 0.067 hectares) up by more than 10% and output income of per mu lifting by more than 400 yuan. In November 2021, the county was listed as “National Pilot County of Agricultural Social Service Innovation”.
