The smart mine of Zhouyuanshan mine company affiliated to Hunan Mine Group was put into operation in Zixing City, Hunan Province on January 22.

 

The mine incorporates AI technology into production process, safety monitoring, and business management, which can reduce the number of personnel on duty by 70% and improve the coal mining efficiency by 20%.

 

The construction of the smart mine was started in March 2020. The company has built 5G network and a data processing center in the mine, which both are the first one in Hunan Province. 5G network can realize the interconnection between those underground and aboveground, and the data processing center can ensure all round information collection, automatic statistical analysis and full control of production process.

 

Through resource integration and multi-platform sharing, the mine has built the first intelligent command center in the province, realizing video communication and automatic monitoring. These intelligent devices will improve the efficiency and safety of the mine.
