Four factories of the Phase I Project of Xiangnan Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park have been basically completed and 5 enterprises have signed contracts to settle in the park for an area of 52,800 square meters.

With a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan, the park covers a construction area of 300,000 square meters including standard factories, warehouses and the cross-border e-commerce headquarters building. In March 2021, the construction of the park was started, and it only took 100 days to complete the main construction and the investment attraction of electronic information enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Enterprises in the park have been put into production one after another. After its completion, the park can accommodate more than 100 enterprises, realizing an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of more than 600 million yuan.

Xiangnan S&T Park shatters the record for the fastest construction and investment of industrial projects in Chenzhou City, which is attributed to efforts made by the committee and the government of Beihu District. Multiple departments have made joint efforts to guarantee factors and more than 800 workers have been working on the construction site every day.

As an information technology enterprise founded in Shenzhen 20 years ago, Danuo signed a contract with the Xiangnan S&T Park with an investment of 150 million yuan, becoming the first enterprise to settle in the park. Engaged in R&D, manufacturing and assembling of 5G and 4G products, Danuo produces an annual value of 250 million yuan with annual tax revenue of 5 million yuan, which creates jobs for more than 300 people.

To ensure smooth project construction, Beihu District has made a clear division of responsibilities according to schedules and tasks to speed up the construction and guarantee the quality. When the project is fully put into operation, an industrial chain based on electronic information and information transmission will be formed, followed by the construction of cross-border e-commerce headquarters building, smart industry storage area, innovation industry R&D and production area and management and service center of the smart park.
