In Shigaitang Industrial Park, a number of enterprises have resumed operation. 

 

In the production workshop of Hongsheng Textile Co., Ltd., there is a hive of activity everywhere. Workers are busy either cleaning up cotton impurities, or combing cotton, or pulling carts full of goods. 

 

 

The company was put into production in 2010, mainly engaged in high-quality cotton yarn production. 

 

Over the years, it has gradually expanded its scale, with an output value of about 150 million in 2021. 

 

 

This year, Hongsheng Textile Co., Ltd. resumed operation on February 6. All of its 201 employees have been on duty. They have been stepping up efforts in production, aiming to complete this month’s output goal of 550 tons.

 

In the production workshop of Chenzhou Jiuding Feed Co., Ltd., 31 workers are all busy with production in an orderly manner. 

 

In the shipping area, all kinds of packaged feed are waiting for delivery. The goods are mainly supplied to pig-breeding enterprises in Shaoguan and Chenzhou, where production and sales are booming and demand exceeds supply.

 

The company had a production capacity of 240,000 tons in 2021, with a production value of about 320 million yuan. 

 

 

In January 2022, the company’s sales exceeded 150,00 tons. The production line is now busy with production for existing orders at the beginning of the new year.

 

In Beihu District, like Hongsheng Textile and Jiuding Feed, quite a few enterprises resumed production after the Spring Festival holiday. 

 

“Before the Spring Festival, departments at all levels in Beihu District took the initiative to contact with enterprises to get informed of their holiday arrangement so as to prepare well for their resumption of work after the Spring Festival holiday,” said a head of Beihu District.

 

After the resumption of enterprises, the district leaders led the relevant functional departments to visit the enterprises, supervise and inspect their situation of resumption, address the difficulties and problems on the spot.

 

To ensure the smooth resumption of work and production of enterprises while doing a good job of safe production and epidemic control, Beihu District has increased its efforts in services for enterprises, ensuring the supply of water, electricity and gas, and policy support. 

 

It has also actively implemented policies and measures such as cutting taxes and fees, assisting enterprises in stabilizing their employment, addressing difficulties of enterprises, and providing financial benefits, which will reduce the burden of enterprises.

 

Besides, policies to promote industrial development have been adopted to guide and support industrial enterprises to start production at full capacity.

Up to now, 48 of 95 industrial enterprises in the region have resumed operation, with a resumption rate of about 51%.
