Chenzhou reports two new confirmed Covid-19 cases

On February 15, Chenzhou City in Hunan Province reported two new confirmed Covid-19 cases, and both cases were transported to a designated hospital for treatment, said local health authorities. Two patients entered the country from Hong Kong on the early morning of February 14, and then drove into Chenzhou via Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
Chenzhou launched an emergency response plan immediately to fight against the virus, carrying out epidemiological investigation and regional nucleic acid testing. It also conducted environmental monitoring and disinfecting for the hotel where the confirmed cases lived and other places they have been to.
As of 10:00 on February 15, 842 close contacts and key groups have been identified, and key areas have been designated according to the confirmed cases’ whereabouts, and the management and control measures have been implemented.
