Photos taken at Taiyu Camellia Oil Co., Ltd. in Yongxing County show that four automatic production lines and workers are busy producing camellia oil. Yang Zheng, general manager of the company, said that with a large number of orders, the whole company is working at full capacity to produce as many products as possible, thus completing tasks on schedule.

 

The design processing capacity of Taiyu Camellia Oil is 12,000 tons of camellia oil cakes, 4,000 tons of camellia seeds, 1,000 tons of refined oil and 800 tons of organic cold-pressed oil. The annual output value can reach 120 million yuan. 

 

 

Yang Zheng noted: “Our company plans to promote the brand in the market by more investment in facilities and quality improvement of products through scientific and technological innovations, thus boosting the rapid development of camellia oil industry in Yongxing County.”

 

There are 4 large and medium-sized comprehensive processing enterprises of camellia oil in the county, and Taiyu is one of them. The county has about 44,333 hectares of camellia oleifera forests. Last year, the annual output of camellia oil was 12,786.5 tons with an output value of 1.52 billion yuan. 

 

 

“Next, we will strengthen camellia oil industry, and strive to plant more than 46,667 hectares of camellia trees by 2025 with the output expected to reach 20,000 tons and the output value of 2 billion yuan, thus promoting the integration of camellia oil and three industries.” said Ling Honguo, an official of Yongxing Forestry Bureau.
