It’s expected that the best flowering period will fall in early March. It will then become a resort for tourists to appreciate flowers and take photos. “Cole flowers will bloom in early March this year. The output is about 100 kg per mu (about 667 square meters), and the profit is 500 yuan per mu,” said Long Pingxiang, the village director. 

 

 

In recent years, the town has made full use of idle fields in winter and spring to grow crops and cole flowers. The sea of cole flowers has become a business card of the local agricultural tourism industry.

 

 

Now, a tourism industrial chain integrating appreciating flowers, selling agricultural and sideline products and agritainment has taken shape in the town. The organic integration of cole planting and leisure tourism drives local farmers to get rich, and promotes the transformation and upgrading of traditional agricultural and rural revitalization.
