Agricultural machines under maintenance for spring farming

Tractors, rotary tillers, seeders and other agricultural machines were neatly placed on the storage area of Qiangnong agricultural machinery Cooperative in Liaojiang Town, Zixing City, where Zhang Peixiong, director general of the cooperative, was organizing staff to carry out equipment maintenance.
This year, Zixing City plans to achieve a sowing area of more than 27,000 hectares, including about 6,533.3 hectares for planting early season rice.
In order to help farmers prepare for spring farming, Zixing has carried out on-site maintenance service and technical training in villages.
Besides, key farming technologies have been publicized through phones and WeChat. Zixing City has also offered guidance on epidemic prevention measures, field management, as well as methods to prevent loss from low temperature, persistent rain, and snow storms.
What’s more, agricultural production safety and preferential policy on purchase of agricultural machinery have been promoted, and relevant pamphlets were given out to villagers.
Up to now, there have been more than 45,000 registered agricultural machines in Zixing City, 26,500 of which have received maintenance.
