This road was officially opened to traffic on January 28 this year, with a total length of 3 kilometers and a width of 7 meters and a total investment of more than 6 million yuan. 

 

As a transportation hub connecting Sanjiangkou Town of Rucheng County and Shaoguan City of Guangdong Province, Daping Town used to see traffic jams in holidays because of large traffic flow. 

 

Tielujiang industrial road bypasses the town area and leads directly to Pingwan, Chengxi and other villages in the town. The smooth and safe traffic during this year’s Spring Festival holiday fully showed its significance. 

 

It also connects industrial bases such as modern agriculture industrial park, watermelon base and pepper base. It facilitates rural agricultural production and helps form a modern agriculture demonstration belt. 

 

Making full use of this road, a 3-km Tielujiang scenic corridor was built. This year, it plans to build homestay inns, food shops, life experience halls and other tourist facilities along the belt, so as to drive the development of surrounding economy and boost rural revitalization after poverty alleviation.
