Chenzhou City was rated as one of the eight demonstration cities for legal service by the Political and Judiciary Commission under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and its practices were shared on the fifth national exchange conference on the pilot modernization of urban social governance.
Chenzhou City, as the first batch of pilot cities for the modernization of municipal social governance in China, has taken the priority of promoting social governance since the program of the "national pilot qualified cities for the modernization of municipal social governance" was launched in 2020, which greatly improved the city’s governance capacity.
Moreover, Chenzhou paid more attention to legal service for rural areas. It introduced legal talents from other cities and provided online and offline legal services, which greatly promoted the popularization, convenience and specialization of rural legal services. And the people's sense of security and satisfaction have ranked among the top in the province for eight consecutive years.
