Pinghe Village is located at the foot of Jiuziling, south foot of Wugai Mountain in southern Hunan province, with a cultivated land area of 105.73 hectares. After a series of measures of high-standard farmland construction, the land is more resilient to natural disasters, with the improved ecological landscape. The once abandoned wasteland has now turned into a good place to develop characteristic industries. 

 

Driven by rural tourism, local villagers set up stalls to sell agricultural products beside cole flowers. The integration of agriculture and tourism has been developing rapidly. 

 

 

The village secretary said that rural tourism effectively helps villagers increase income. Villagers can sell their agricultural and sideline products on the roadside, which are favored by tourists. 

 

 

The sea of cole flowers in the village is a popular attraction. Next, the local government will increase efforts to develop village-level economy, increase village infrastructure and public facilities. It will strive to cultivate and develop new business forms such as leisure agriculture, rural tourism and homestay inns, and build it into a beautiful and strong tourist village.
