The Enterprise Hunan Network (EHN), a digital platform serving Hunan’s enterprises for international operation, went into operation in May last year, according to a trade promotion conference of the province for 2022 held on March 8.
Now, it has collected economic and trade data of 189 countries and regions, and information of about 1 million enterprises. More than 100,000 products of 12,000 enterprises are on display. It’s the first of this kind in China.
EHN has five application data bases for enterprises and products, projects for investment, business opportunities, country data, and import and export trade respectively.
Four major services are provided, including exhibition management, supply and procurement, guarantee of rights and interests, and think tank.
It helped about 400 enterprises gain orders at the China International Rail Transit & Equipment Manufacturing Industry Expo and the Hunan International Green Development Expo last year.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hunan Branch uses EHN to promote national standards, compliance strategies, regulations and policies, in a bid to lead enterprises to raise their awareness of compliance and establish a compliance system. All 13 cities and one prefecture of the province have launched the related work. Shaodong is the first county-level participator.
EHN will provide training for 1,000 local enterprises, introduce 30,000 Hunan-based enterprises and 500,000 products (sets). 30 professional match-making meetings and promotion fairs will be held throughout the year, focusing on key industries and markets, aiming to help 200 Hunan enterprises make breakthroughs in international trade through online exhibitions of key economic and trade events.
What’s more, EHN will establish partnership with 100 professional institutions pertaining to finance, law, agent services and research in three years, providing guarantee for enterprises’ international operation.
