Recently, Yongxing Economic Development Zone (Yongxing EDZ) won the title of “Green Park” in Hunan Province, according to the list of green manufacturing demonstration units in 2021 released by Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

Established in December 1992, Yongxing EDZ is a provincial development zone, with a total planning area of 2,287 square kilometers. It has won many honorary titles, such as national demonstration base for circular economy, national demonstration base for urban mineral and national industrialization base for recycling of rare and precious metals.

Since 2012, it has kept in the forefront in the annual comprehensive evaluation of parks above the provincial level in Hunan Province and among parks in Chenzhou city. And all major economic indicators rank in the forefront of the province.

At present, there are 618 market entities in Yongxing EDZ, including 97 industrial enterprises above a designated size, 58 high-tech enterprises, 56 enterprises with an output value of more than 100 million yuan each, and 16 with an output value of more than 1 billion yuan each.
