Hunan ranks China’s top 5 in medical devices

Last year, 2,408 kinds of Class II and III medical devices were registered in Hunan province, ranking the first nationwide with its growth rate having been in the forefront for three consecutive years. Besides, there were 127 newly established medical device enterprises, with the growth rate also ranking first nationwide. Hunan is among China’s top 5 in medical device industry.
In recent years, Hunan has seen good momentum in developing medical device industry. Five medical device enterprises were listed, and a number of “Little Giants” emerged.
This year, the province will focus on the credit system and evaluation of professional titles in medical device industry, and promote the construction of medical device specialties in higher education institutions, in a bid to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
15 representative projects were shown from the perspectives of their core teams, project introduction, operation mode, core competitiveness, market prospect analysis and management. Several projects reached cooperation intentions on the site.
