Photos taken in Xiayang Yao village, Yanshou Yao town, Rucheng county, Chenzhou, show that farmers are busy with spring ploughing in the farmland against green mountains and clear water.

 

 

With party building at the core, the village has responded to the Covid-19 and promoted spring ploughing in a coordinated way from the beginning of this year. In order to improve the industrial quality and efficiency, expand the bases and increase income, the village has made the following endeavors: guide the masses to change their ideas; promote investment through land transfer; innovate the guiding mechanism and land block management mechanism; provide people with support in terms of epidemic prevention and control, agricultural supplies guarantee, technical guidance and land transfer. This has boosted orderly spring ploughing and industrial development in the village. 

 

 

At present, the village has a total of approximately 36.7 hectares of transferred land, including 13.3 hectares of taro, 8 hectares of eggplant, 13.3 hectares of corn and 2 hectares of watermelon grown in greenhouses. The village is seeing beautiful environment, thriving industry and increasing income.
