The oil tea industry is estimated to bring a net income of 20 million yuan for the village, according to Chen Xing, party secretary of the village. In his eyes, this oil tea forest will help villagers increase income, drive collective economy, and boost rural revitalization.

 

 

To make the saplings grow better, they did not let the trees bear fruit, but also canceled the original plan to plant watermelon under the trees. "We will harvest oil tea the year after next! Now our sapling survival rate has reached 99%, and we will weed the field after a time," Chen Xing said.
