Local farmers of Zixing city, Chenzhou city are busy with farming work by using agricultural machines and traditional farming methods during Guyu, or Grain Rain, the sixth of the 24 solar terms created by ancient Chinese to carry out agricultural activities.

This year, the term of Grain Rain falls on April 20, which brings a marked increase in temperature and precipitation.
