Those exquisite bamboo fences are made by more than 10 local bamboo craftsmen, who cut a kind of local bamboo called Nanzhu into long bamboo strips to weave into fences. The village has made bamboo fences of more than 2,000 meters within months, attracting numerous tourists and villagers.

 

 

Wang Laiqun, Party Secretary of the Xihe Village, introduced that the village has made bamboo fences on both sides of the Xihe Tourist Path and the rural roads, and around two industrial orchards, hoping to make it a demonstration village of beautiful countryside and create a sound living and tourist environment. Those bamboo fences enable villagers and tourists to enjoy the beautiful and pleasant environment, and to be more aware of environmental protection.
