“I planted more than 6.7 hectares of rape, which can produce more than 4,000 kg of rapeseed oil. According to the market situation this year, each kilogram of rapeseed oil can be sold for 30 yuan, and it’s expected to generate more than 120,000 yuan.” said Guo Jianxiong. 

 

After being harvested, rapes will not be transported to home immediately, but left in the field for drying. The naturally dried rapeseed is more likely to fall off. After screening and bagging, the rapeseed will be sent to the workshop to be extracted for rapeseed oil. 

 

This year, the town planted more than 180 hectares of rape, involving more than 300 farmers.
