In order to create a safe and convenient transport environment for students in the whole county, the local transportation bureau and road transportation service center opened the “direct bus for students”.

 

To ensure the smooth operation of the “direct bus” mechanism, pick-up points for rural passenger vehicles were piloted in July 2021 in Nitang Village, Zhuangchuan Village and other places.

 

On the basis of the pilot project, the local transportation bureau introduced the “direct bus for students” to the whole county.

 

 

Special sites have been set up all over the Guidong County for students to get a bus card. In order to further reduce travel cost of students, students having a semester card can enjoy a 10 percent discount based on the preferential student ticket.  

 

Up to now, the “direct bus for students” is available for the First Wanquan Primary School of Oujiang Town, Guidong vocational education center, the First Middle School of Guidong County, the Second Middle School of Guidong County, as well as 17 administrative villages in the county, benefiting over 18,000 students.
