Among them, Chenzhou City and Guangdong’s Foshan City, Zhangjiajie and Jiangsu’s Nanjing City established cooperative relationship, with the cooperation period from 2022 to 2030.  

 

It clarifies five key tasks: inheriting and carrying forward the Red culture, promoting rural revitalization and new urbanization, improving infrastructure and basic public services, promoting ecological environment protection and restoration and green and low-carbon development, and jointly building an industrial cooperation platform. 

 

Meanwhile, paired-up city governments are encouraged to carry out exchanges and visits, and jointly study and promote key work. Cadres are encouraged to take temporary posts, and learn from each other. Other cities and counties in the old revolutionary base areas are encouraged to actively connect with cities in the eastern and central regions, and establish cooperation relations according to the plan. 

 

Relevant departments are required to strengthen guidance in cooperation work for the old revolutionary base areas, and provide preferential policies for them. Policy-related financial institutions are encouraged to increase their support for the old revolutionary base areas based on their functions and business. Commercial financial institutions are encouraged to actively participate in the revitalization and development of the old revolutionary base areas through market-oriented means.
