The planting base covers an area of more than 13 hectares, and attracts more than 5,000 tourists each year during the blooming period. Tourists will also buy local lotus seeds after enjoying lotus flowers. 

 

 

The base can produce more than 5,000 kg of lotus seeds every year, helping increase income for growers. 

 

 

 

Chen Long, head of Linwu Bailian Haohe Planting and Breeding Professional Cooperative, introduced that the base mainly produces lotus seeds and drives the surrounding tourism. The lotus flowers have a flower season of more than three months, and the total income of lotus seeds can reach more than 400,000 yuan each year.
